Brand Story

Since 2007 when the manufacturing assets of Kraft Foods Jamaica Limited were purchased by Seprod, the plant at the International Biscuit Company has not ceased to amaze its consumers and customers with its delicious lines of biscuits and cheese snacks.

The IBL plant produces a wide assortment of cookies and crackers under the Butterkist brand and a wide range of snacks under the Snackables brand along with third-party brands such as Ovaltine.

Today the name Butterkist is synonymous with Jamaican favorites exporting to markets in the USA, Canada, UK, Latin America and the Caribbean
